Back Pain

Most Americans will suffer from back pain at some point in their life.  Pain is a sign that there is something wrong.  Ignoring pain is like ignoring the  “low oil” light in your car.

Back pain typically occurs when vertebrae become misaligned and pinch the nerves along your spinal cord. You may also experience pain if the back muscles get torn, or the discs, which act as shock absorbers, rupture. The lowest part of the back is most vulnerable to injury because it supports the weight of the upper body as well as it being twisted and bent more than any other part of the body.

Chiropractic adjustments can help the spine to correct itself. As the spine corrects itself, the blood begins to flow more freely, the nerves become less and less impinged, and the cerebro-spinal fluid flows better.  When everything is flowing freely, pain eases and the body begins to heal itself.
