Practitioners at GWC have advanced training in a diagnostic art called Contemporary Chinese Pulse Diagnosis.  Our acupuncturists can distinguish over 50 different pulse qualities and subtle combinations, each of which helps to identify the root causes of various ailments. Once that root cause has been uncovered and a pattern established, a personalized treatment plan is designed using acupuncture and/or herbal therapies.

We are able to provide a Chinese Medical Diagnosis using our specialized Contemporary Chinese Pulse system. This system provides a reliable source of diagnostic information that is relevant to our modern times and current diseases, and is used for early diagnosis and prevention. It gives important insight into the state of organ health, emotional and psychological functioning, and areas that are of concern for future health.

All internal medicine problems treated by your acupuncture physician use this method of pulse evaluation. In addition, we offer pulse evaluation services for diagnostic purposes if your acupuncture physician would like some more detailed information about your internal landscape.
