What is Flowing Zen?
Flowing Zen™ is a breakthrough self-healing system that has helped thousands of people all over the world. Flowing Zen is an umbrella term for four different energy arts offered in the Flowing Zen studio -- Tai Chi, Qigong, Kung Fu, and Meditation. These arts are taught by Sifu Anthony Korahais, the founder and director of the Flowing Zen Studio.

What is Tai Chi?
Tai Chi promotes physical, emotional, and mental health. Sometimes called “medication in motion,” more and more doctors are recommending this ancient Chinese martial art. The training is gentle and graceful, and there is no need for special equipment. Tai Chi is also a very effective martial art, where physical size and mechanical strength are not necessary.

What is Qigong?
Qigong (also spelled Chi Kung) is a rare and ancient Chinese healing art. It was a well-kept secret for centuries and was virtually unknown in the US until recently. The Qigong taught at the Flowing Zen studio came from the famous Shaolin Monastery in China. The exercises involve simple physical movements, gentle breathing techniques, and a relaxed, meditative state of mind.
-
What is Kung Fu?
Kung Fu is a complete program for health, self defense, mental clarity, character development, and spiritual fulfillment. The Flowing Zen studio teaches a specific style called Cosmos Kung Fu - a high-level martial art that was developed by monks in the Shaolin Monastery in China. This style of Kung Fu emphasizes internal cultivation rather than external conditioning.

What is Zen Meditation?
Zen is a form of meditation that enriches our daily life. At lower levels, Zen training gives us mental clarity, which enhances all activities, whether we are reading a book, shooting a basketball, or driving a car. At the middle level, Zen gives us tranquility, peace, and spiritual joy. At the highest level, Zen leads us to the highest attainment a human being can every achieve.

Is it hard?
Qigong requires zero athleticism. If you can sit or stand for 10 minutes, then you can benefit from Qigong. The exercises are simple and easy to remember.
Tai Chi requires a bit more athleticism, but it can be enjoyed by people of all ages. Tai Chi is perhaps most famous today for being practiced by millions of elderly people in China. Sifu Anthony's teaching is systematic, making it easy to learn the flowing movements.
Kung Fu requires more athleticism than the other arts taught in Flowing Zen. It is for people who want the best, and are willing to work hard.
Zen Meditation is demanding, but not physically. It requires considerable mental effort. Luckily, it is also enjoyable, which makes it easier to apply the effort.

What can Flowing Zen do for me?
Flowing Zen can change your life! It has changed the lives of thousands of people worldwide. Sifu Anthony's used Flowing Zen to cure himself of a debilitating case of clinical depression, and hundreds of his students have used it to address a wide range of ailments. When combined with acupuncture, chiropractic, exercise therapy, or massage therapy, the effects are even more powerful.

How does it work?
When our energy systems are functioning optimally, the ancient Chinese masters described this as a state of harmonious chi flow. In other words, the energy that mobilizes and powers the immune system, produces the proper enzymes for digestion, repairs damaged cells, flushes away toxic waste, and balances the emotions -- all of this energy is flowing harmoniously and thus keeping us happy and healthy. If this harmonious energy flow is blocked, illness or pain occurs. The specialty of Flowing Zen is to restore harmonious energy flow, thus overcoming illness and pain regardless of the cause. It is also a highly effective method for preventing illness and pain.
